Carter Funkhouser, B.A.
I'm interested in using multiple methods (e.g., psychophysiology, behavior, self-report, neuroimaging) to understand mechanisms by which deficits in reward and/or social processing may connote risk for depression. I am particularly interested in utilizing biological measures to predict diagnosis, longitudinal outcomes, and treatment response, as well as using targeted intervention paradigms to alter biological processes associated with psychopathology.
Kelly Correa, B.A.
I am currently interested in how individuals' self-reported and physiological reactions to uncertainty and unpredictable threat may contribute to comorbidity in internalizing psychopathologies.
Huiting Liu, M.A.
I am interested in using psychophysiology and affective neuroscience to examine the biological correlates of psychopathology, looking at both risk factors and predictors of treatment outcome.
|
Lynne Lieberman, M.A.
I am interested in using psychophysiological methods to explore abnormalities in defensive reactivity across internalizing disorders. I am particularly interested in the impact anxiety has on cognitive processes, such as working memory and attention.
|
Libby Stevens, M.A.
I am broadly interested in emotion regulation in anxiety disorders. Specifically, I study cognitive (e.g., worry/rumination, cognitive style, attention) and neuropsychological (e.g., executive function) factors that may contribute to emotional dysfunction in internalizing psychopathology. I am also interested in studying the relationship between physiological indicators of emotion regulation and cognitive/emotional processes that occur in psychopathology.
